When re-installing Illustrator CS3, I'm getting an error "The file c:\documents and settings\start menu\programs\adobe stock photo cs3.ink could not be opened".
This occurred after installing (in this order) Photoshop CS3, Illustrator CS3, inDesign CS2, Acrobat Pro v9 and then Macromedia Dream Weaver CS4. After each install, the computer was rebooted and the app tested for functionality. After Dream Weaver was installed, now Illustrator will not open.
Illustrator was un-installed, the computer was rebooted and tried to re-install, the install gets almost to the end and then the error "The file c:\documents and settings\start menu\programs\adobe stock photo cs3.ink could not be opened" pops up. I went to this path and I do not see a file named "adobe stock photo cs3.ink"
The software is being installed from an Iomega USB drive. I already tried to run the install by copying the installation folder to the desktop of the local\administrator and still the same.
I can not find anything of use in Google or this message board as of yet. The computer is an Lenovo T60 running on Win XP Pro SP3 (imaged), Intel T2400 @ 1.83GHz, 1GB of Ram
Please someone help before I take this HDD and use it for target practice (though entertaining but unless in resolving this issue and a waste of HDD's)
