Illustrator query

I'm using ILL 10 and I'd ask for hlp..

I wish to know how to make outlines for this pic, in order to export it into C4d..

The right way to do it is to lock the image in a lower layer than the vector artork, possibly with a reduced transparency, and use the Pen Tool to (re)draw the outlines.

C4d?
