Not enough RAM at 14% CPU usage

Hey everyone,

I make pretty big files. I am trying to unite a vector I made. It is a bunch of outlines of text... like a bunch.

My problem is that illustrator keeps crashing and saying there is not enough RAM to complete the action.

My computer has TONS of RAM and it is only using 14% CPU.

How do I allow the program to access more of it?

My assumption only: bad font. Try change fonts for one basic font... Arial may be. Second attempt: try create new document and move all to it from existing doc.
